- Please obey all course rules.
- Throughout the year, the club has opportunities to volunteer on the course and inside the clubhouse. Check email, Facebook or contact a Board Member.
- Assigned chairs are the first names listed on the date of the event.
- Contact the club manage to discuss the event details.
- Contact the people listed to coordinate duties for the event.
- Communicate committee plans to the club manager prior to event.
- *All Committee Chairs will turn in a report to the club after their event
- Seek out information from the committee chairs.
- Assist in coordinating the event.
- Work the event.
If you are unable to work the event.
- YOU are responsible for securing a member replacement that is over the age of 18 years old.
- Communicate the replacement’s name to the club manager and committee chair.
- If you or your named replacement does not serve the assigned event you will be automatically billed $150/person.
The CCC Board, Club Manager and Kitchen Staff rely on members to work assigned events to keep costs down and for you to connect with new and existing club members. Check the calendar, Facebook pages and email for your opportunities and assignments.

Rules:
- Residents of Cresco and not members of the Country Club are not entitled to any privileges of the Country Club grounds, except applicants for membership who have been approved by the board or special guest events. After Labor Day the course will be open to Cresco area residents who are non-members on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and pay regular green fees. They will be able to play without being accompanied by a member.
- To clarify family and guest privileges of Members, the following excerpt is quoted from Article II, Section 2 of the By-laws, as amended: "A membership shall entitle a member and his family to full privileges of the club." For purposes of the By-law, a "Member of the family" is defined as follows: "the spouse and dependent and minor children of the member." Members shall be entitled to receive a Guest Card for their guests, not living in Cresco or vicinity, upon application to the secretary of this Club. A Guest must play with a member on weekends, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. An exception would be an immediate family member or card-carrying member of another club.
- The Board of Directors shall control the use of the Club by private parties. Regular monthly Board Meetings shall be held.
- Practice approaching or practice putting on any green is absolutely prohibited. Use practice green at the range, below No. 5 tee, or west of the Clubhouse.
- Number of players is restricted to fivesomes or less. Three ball sixsomes are only allowed if playing alternate shot.
- In the interest of preventing slow play, if the green in front of you is open, please allow the group behind you the courtesy of playing through. The number of golfers in either group does not matter.
- High school and younger students are not allowed on the golf course or in the clubhouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- A Junior Membership shall be defined as a minor boy or girl in high school whose parents do not belong to the club, or a full-time college student aged 24 years or younger. A Junior Member shall be entitled to play to September 1 following high school graduation and will be allowed to play on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- All golfers must sign at the tee-time sheet before playing. No exceptions.
- Strongly encourage a minimum of threesomes on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Limit play to 18 holes between noon and 6:00pm on Thursday, subject to the discretion of the bar manager.
- A round must be completed in 2 hours 15 minutes.
- Golf Cart Traffic Regulations
- Keep carts 20 feet from all greens and tees.
- Observe all arrows and markers on the course for route of carts.
- If family owns their own cart, no one under the age of 14 is permitted to operate a golf cart unless accompanied by a parent.
- If a family participates in the lease program, they must have a license in order to drive a cart.
- Golfers must be 18 years old to rent a cart.
- Three carts maximum per group.
- Children under the age of eleven must be accompanied by an adult. Club members who allow their children to play unaccompanied by adults are responsible to teach the child golf etiquette and rules.
- Family events are encouraged at the club when no other event is scheduled. Private golfing parties schedule by Members must tee off on No. 1. No shotgun starts allowed.
- Absolutely no dogs allowed on the golf course.
- All alcoholic beverages consumed on Country Club grounds are to be purchased at the clubhouse.
- No keg beer. Liquor and wine must be purchased through the club only.
- Rental rate information is available at the clubhouse. A rental and/or catering agreement must be signed by the renting party at the time the club is reserved. Rental agreements are subject to Board approval. The maximum number of people allowed at any catered event is 230, unless prior Board approval is received.
- Tournament Rules:
- Club is to receive 20% of income prior to distribution of prizes/expenses.
- All food profits go directly to the Club.
- Tournament entries and payments are due at sign-up.
- Requests for refunds of entry fees must be received no later than two weeks prior to tournament date.
- The following committees are to meet with the Club Manager at least one month in advance of the date of the event: Opening Party, Closing Party, and Duck Dinner.
- All Chairpersons of committees, other than couples' steak night, are to turn in a report to the Club Manager within two weeks of that event. A copy of the report will be kept at the Clubhouse. A report form can be picked up from the manager.
- Assigned Committees:
- $150 will be automatically billed to any member of a committee if the member (or his/her replacement) does not show up for their duties.
- Committee members unable to serve on the date listed must secure their own replacement who is a member over the age of 18 years.
- It is the responsibility of the first person listed on the committee to contact the other committee members prior to working.
- Please notify the Clubhouse Manager of any substitutions made on committees so that our calendar may be kept up to date. Please check the calendar and committees carefully.

Excerpts from Cresco Country Club By-laws concerning payment of dues:
- "All persons once admitted to any class of membership in the Club shall on the second Monday in February each year become legally obligated for another year's dues unless written resignation or application for a Demit shall have been prior to that dated presented to the Board of Directors." Demits are issued for one year only - No more.
- "All payments designated as Annual Dues shall be paid before April 1st of each year for the ensuing year."
- "If a member is indebted for dues for a period of two months after the due date thereof, his name shall be posted as it appears, and his use of the Clubhouse, grounds, and course shall be suspended. At any time prior to forfeiture and at the discretion of the Board of Directors, membership may be reinstated upon such terms and conditions as said Board shall determine.
- We now accept credit cards for payment of dues and other charges. Dues payment by credit card is subject to a fee. All bar tabs must be settled at the end of the night.

As of 2025, all members may golf on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 1:00pm. After that, only women may golf on Tuesdays and men on Thursdays.
Members are encouraged to bring guest to golf and our clubhouse activities.
Check with Clubhouse Manager for green fee and cart rental prices.
Members may be eligible to purchase book of 10 green fees prior to May 15th.
